Business eSIM

Electronic SIM which allows you to have several mobile numbers on your phone without having to use a physical SIM.

eSIM is an embedded digital SIM that allows you to have several mobile numbers on your phone without having to use a physical SIM. If your device supports an eSIM, this means:

  • The SIM is already embedded into the device.
  • It’s ready to be activated by the operator who support eSIM
  • You may add multiple profiles or mobile numbers which can be used one at a time, depending on the device.

How to activate?

To begin using your Mobily e-SIM and activate your line on your device which has an embedded SIM card, please call your account manager:

  • You can subscribe to any voice or data package on eSIM. Also, you can move your current number and package from the traditional physical SIM to eSIM (SIM Swap).
  • Get the QR code – this code can either be printed by your account manager or it can be provided as a preprinted voucher.
  • Make sure that your device is connected to a WiFi network.
  • For iPhone: Go to Settings > Cellular. Then, tap “Add cellular plan” option.
  • For Samsung: Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager > Add mobile Plan
  • Scan the QR code by using the camera on your device.
  • Your device will start an online session to download the eSIM profile.
  • Please don’t switch off the WiFi connectivity till the process is completed
  • Once the e-SIM profile download is completed, your e-SIM device will be registered to Mobily network.
How can I subscribe to eSIM?

You can get a new Mobily number as eSIM or replace your existing physical SIM with an eSIM (if your device supports eSIM) by calling your account manager.

What is the cost for activating the eSIM?

Currently Mobily Business have promotion, there are no extra charges for issuing the eSIM. 15% VAT will be applied after the end of our promotion.

Which devices are in the market that support eSIM?

Apple phones:

iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro MAX with iOS 12.1 or later

Samsung:

Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip

Do I have to subscribe to a certain package to activate eSIM?

No, you can subscribe to any of Mobily postpaid voice or business connect packages on eSIM (Voice or Data). As well, you can move your current number and package from the traditional physical SIM to eSIM (SIM Swap).

 

Will all my current services work if I replaced my physical SIM with the eSIM?

Yes, all your existing services and tariffs will exist on your new eSIM.

What if I want to cancel my eSIM and return to the physical SIM? Is this possible?

Yes, you can always replace your eSIM with the traditional physical SIM, by visiting any Mobily outlet, calling 901, or calling your account manager.

 

What do I need to do if I want to replace my eSIM device with another eSIM supported device?

You need to visit Mobily outlet, call 901, or call your account manager to get a new QR code for the same number after deleting the eSIM profile from the old phone.
